Duane Bryers ~ HILDA
One of the many incredible photorealistic paintings by Pedro Campos.
Time. A recent exhibit I visited at the sf moma we stood in front of a projection of ourselves. If you stand outside the clock shape, it was real time. If you stand within the clock’s shape, it lags and does not display everything. It’s choppy. You could say what happens within the clock is memory, it’s not all there, just glimpses you happen to remember.
Comparing the two and you can feel the difference of living in the present and in the past. The present has so much more to offer where as the past, memory, just drags you behind and isn’t all there.
Valuable life lessons here people.
My friends are rather sensational.
The first is a friends interpretation of the portrait below.
